We believe in an individualized, collaborative approach to treatment.

We will work with you to develop and work toward your own treatment goals, whether you want to drink less, socially, or not at all.

Clinicians receive supervision and support in the diagnosis of alcohol-related disorders, the administration of assessments, and the use of empirically-supported therapies, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Community Reinforcement Approach, and Mindfulness-based Relapse Prevention.

If you have a loved one with substance use concerns, we can also help you support them and explore treatment options.  In addition, we are now able to provide evidence based problem gambling treatment in New Mexico.

Trainings and supervision are provided by experts at the UNM Center on Alcohol, Substance use, And Addictions (CASAA) and in the UNM Psychology Department.
